The American Kennel Club hosted the inaugural Eukanuba World Challenge in conjunction with the AKC/Eukanuba National Championship in Long Beach, Calif. on December 1-2, 2007. The 2007 AKC/Eukanuba National Championship was held at the Long Beach Convention Center on Saturday and Sunday, December 1 and 2, 2007.

The AKC/Eukanuba National Championship had something for everyone; the two days of competition involved thousands of dogs. The evening culminated with Group and Best in Show judging.

We were onsite, and presented the AKC Collection in our first large-scale public forum.

The AKC Collection officially launched at the Luxury Marketing Council’s first ever The Luxury of Pets: A Tribute to the Dog event. This event was made possible thanks to the generosity of Commerce Bank, our kind host, and in honor of Canine Companions for Independence, honorary members of the Luxury Marketing Council, who enhance the lives of children and adults with disabilities by providing highly-trained assistance dogs and ongoing support to ensure quality, life partnerships — person and dog together.

There was a ‘doggie fashion show’ compliments of Bitch New York; the AKC Collection filled the room with six premiere pieces from our collection.
